Planet Capital Limited is the investment banking services arm of Planet Capital Group which is a financial services solution provider supporting clients with investment banking, asset management, securities trading, and corporate governance advisory services. We are registered with Nigeria Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Nigeria Exchange Group (NGX), the FMDQ Group Plc, and the National Association of Securities Dealers OTC (NASD) to operate as an issuing house, financial adviser, underwriter, stockbroker, and asset/wealth manager.
Our company is a product of the merger between Strategy & Arbitrage Limited, Emerging Capital Limited, and Planet Capital Limited. In 2011, the Companies initiated discussions for the combination of their businesses. The objectives were to strengthen the operational capabilities of the emergent company and build a full-scale investment banking business that will better serve our clients. The necessary approvals for the merger were duly secured with the regulatory authorities in 2012. The value proposition underlying the merger is founded on superior human capital, business development capabilities, and improved corporate governance and risk management.
